Add Comments and Apply Ratings
The system will act as a central point where all key data is recorded and stored. This will include any comments you make on an applicant. Comments can be added at any time, but the most likely triggers for you to add a note will be after you have either reviewed their application, after an interview of if you have had an important phone conversation.
Each comment is stored on the system with a date and the details of the user who added it.
You can also rate applicants based on our 5 star rating system, that also allows for half stars (e.g. 4.5 stars out of 5). Not all clients use this rating system but those with large responses find it useful to go through each applicant and rate them against the vacancy.
Then the recruiter can review all the applicants in the applicant list and reduce down the list by removing applicants with lower ratings. If you still have move applicants than you have interview/assessment centre slots, you can then re-review the remaining applicants until such time as you have the shortlist you need.
It is totally up to you how you want to decide what attributes you are looking to see in order to rate an applicant as 5 star, 4 star or any other rating. They are free to record their own internal notes to determine what is a 5 star applicant etc.
